Introduced in 1987, the annual Loo of the Year Awards are run independently, by the British Toilet Association, with sponsorship provided by Cannon Hygiene, Technical Concepts, SCA Hygiene Products and Unger - together with the national tourism bodies of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
